    BANANAS!!!!

Yes, very ripe frozen bananas is all it takes to make my version of ice cream, simply run them through a food processor until they are creamy.
Eat as is or mix in shredded coconut, cinnamon, vanilla, fresh berries, or my absolute favorite: add raw cacao powder to it while blending it. My husband adds chocolate whey protein powder and eats it as a post-work out treat

I guarantee that it will taste just like banana chocolate ice cream but it is naturally refined sugar-free, dairy-free and high in iron, Potassium, vitamin C and vitamin B6.

    Tips:
Peel and slice bananas before freezing.
Thawing them for about 5 minutes will make the blending a lot easier

Just found you through Homestead Survival, and I’m so glad I did! I’ve been looking for dairy and gluten free recipes for health reasons. Thanks so much for sharing!
