HI, great recipe, l am new to slow cookers and would like to ask do you add water to the slow cooker along with the chicken, or is it just cooked on top of the onions in the slow cooker? Thanks Sarah

you don’t need to add any water, just set it over the sliced onions.

Soooooo good. FYI, 3 tsp of oil is the same as 1 Tbs :). Anyway, this was good. I may add some rosemary to it the next time.

P.S. I also cooked it on high for 2 hours and it was done and juicy. 4 lb. chicken in my crockpot.
